Authorisation is sought from the Assistant Director Housing to award a contract under Contract Standing Order (CSO) 9.07.1c to Satish Jassal Architects Limited to provide architectural services stages 1-3 for the Remington Road site for a Fee of £68,588 + VAT (includes £33,760 provisional sum for surveys).

It is recommended that the Assistant Director for Housing approve the waiver of Contract Standing Order 08.03’s requirement to obtain competitive quotes for work of this value; and to approve the implementation of Contract Standing Order 10.02.1a to extend UNIT 1’s appointment for the value of £18,275.

To request approval to award a contract to Potter Raper Partnership for multi-disciplinary design services in relation to producing the specification, tendering and contract administration for the fire compartmentation and minor associated building works at South Harringay Primary School in the fixed sum of £51,136.00 plus an allowance for surveys and disbursements of £4,904.00; a total of £56,040.00.
