To request approval to award a contract to
Potter Raper Partnership for multi-disciplinary design services in
relation to producing the specification, tendering and contract
administration for the fire compartmentation and minor associated
building works at South Harringay Primary School in the fixed sum
of £51,136.00 plus an allowance for surveys and disbursements
of £4,904.00; a total of £56,040.00.
A feasibility study commissioned under the Priority 1 Education
Condition and Suitability Programme at South Harringay Primary
School identified urgent work were required to the building’s
fire compartmentation and minor associated works in order to comply
with the current Building Regulations.
There are no resources within the council that have the capacity
along with the necessary experience, qualifications and expertise
to deliver this service in house.
