Company’s aims and objectives

• To promote the education and training of persons (particularly young persons) who are unemployed or at risk of unemployment.
• To promote the relief of persons in need as a result of unemployment or the risk of unemployment, including through the arrangement of paid employment.
• To create or assist in the creation of opportunities for employment in areas where involuntary employment is causing poverty, hardship, distress or physical or mental ill health.
• To promote education and training in relation to the establishment, development and management of business.
• To promote any other charitable purposes directed towards the improvement of the condition of life of such persons.
• To promote, establish and assist businesses, which may create opportunities employment for such persons

Company has two members, The College of Haringey Enfield and North East London and The London Borough of Haringey.

Board members are expected to act in best interest of the company

The College appointed Director is the Principal who is also the Chair, The Clerk to the Corporation is the Secretary.  The College’s Vice Principal Curriculum & Learner Experience is the College’s alternate director.

One annual general meeting a year (no more than 15 months to elapse between meetings)

General meetings shall be called by at least 14 days clear notice.

To date the board has met on average three times a year
