Decisions

That the Assistant Director for Housing: -
1) Approves the award of contract to Cuttle Construction Ltd. for the quoted sum of £46,206.00.
2) Approves the total project fees of £7,670.20.
3) Notes the total project cost of £53,876.20.

That the Assistant Director for Housing, authorises: -

A) The payment of previously approved Lead Consultant/Employers Agent fees where the Council’s SAP system has expired.
B) The payment of the Lead Consultant/Employers Agent consultancy’s additional fees, where further properties were added to backfill those previously surveyed, where no access was given by the resident.
C) The payment of the Lead Consultant/Employers Agent consultancy fees where non-compliant fire doors to the Sandlings estate had to be replaced.

Approval of the cost for additional works totalling £50,015.14 that were discovered at the construction stage of the project. These are required to ensure the structural integrity of the house, the safety of its occupants, as well as to bring it up to the Decent Homes standard. This is over and above the original cost of £71,996.00 for the major void works and means the total cost will be £122,111.14.
