Scrutiny Review of Day Centre Transport (Adult Social Care) (To be introduced by Councillor Bull)

Note by the Head of Local Democracy and Member Services

Part 4 Section G Paragraph 1.3 (vii) of the Constitution states that following endorsement by the Overview and Scrutiny Committee, final reports and recommendations will be presented to the next available Cabinet meeting. The Cabinet will note the report and request a responding report from the Chief Executive or Chief Officer and Cabinet Member responsible. The request is to be available within 6 weeks of the request and will include a detailed tabulated implementation action plan.

(Joint Report of the Chief Executive and the Chief Financial Officer – To be introduced by the Leader): To report on an exceptions basis financial and performance information for the year to May 2009 and to agree budget virements in accordance with financial regulations.

(Report of the Chief Financial Officer – To be introduced by the Cabinet Member for Resources): To set out key financial and business planning issues to enable Members to consider the resource strategy for the administration.

(Report of the Assistant Chief Executive for Policy, Performance, Partnerships and Communications  - To be introduced by the Cabinet Member for Community Cohesion and Involvement): To agree the Council’s approach to translation and interpretation and a number of recommendations to improve service for users.

(Report of the Assistant Chief Executive for Policy, Performance, Partnerships and Communications - To be introduced by the Leader): To consider options for Broadwater Farm Community Centre and evaluate which option would deliver a sustainable solution for the locality that maximises use, provides equality of access, delivers community benefits and offers better value for money.

(Report of the Director of Urban Environment – To be introduced by the Cabinet Member for Housing): To seek approval to a revision of a decision to dispose of the hostel properties at 20 – 108 Parkland Road and to de-convert them to permanent family homes.

(Report of the Director of Urban Environment – To be introduced by the Cabinet Member for Environment and Conservation): To inform Cabinet of the feedback received from the local community consultation on parking issues carried out in March/April 2009 and to propose a way forward.

(Report of the Director of Children and Young People Services -  To be introduced by the Cabinet Member for Children and Young People): To seek approval to the expansion of Rhodes Avenue Primary School from 2 to 3 forms of entry with effect from September 2011.

(Report of the Director of Children and Young People Services -  To be introduced by the Cabinet Member for Children and Young People): To seek approval to a proposed strategy and delivery programme for the Early Years Quality and Access (EYQA) Capital Grant of £4.029 million.

(Report of the Director of Urban Environment – To be introduced by the Cabinet Member for Resources): To approve entering into agreements with the Homes and Communities Agency and Transport for London to change the Tottenham Hale Gyratory system to two way working traffic flow with a new bus interchange at Tottenham Hale.

(Report of the Director of Corporate Resources – To be introduced by the Cabinet Member for Resources): To seek approval to defer the implementation of a previous Cabinet decision to release the site for disposal.

(Report of the Director of Corporate Resources – To be introduced by the Cabinet Member for Resources): To seek approval to the disposal of the Council’s freehold interest in the Saltram Close Playground site on the open market having secured the planning status of the site.
