Aims

To provide…

 

Personal grants to people in need to help with clothing, bedding or other essential items.

 

Educational grants to young people under 25 to assist with educational expenses or to prepare for a career or profession or further education

 

Local organisation grants

Contributions to charitable organisations with special needs who provide homes for the elderly, infirm or grants to schools, communities and youth organisations.

 

Tasks undertaken by the trustees

Attend meetings, make decisions regarding grant applications.

Consider charities investments as managed by Cazenoze.

 

Responsibilities of trustees

Attend meetings, consider grant applications by post 2 weeks before meeting.  Attend meetings and make trustees collective decisions on applications for grants.

 

Number of members: 13 Trustees, 6 Haringey, 3 Hackney, 3 co-opted and Chair.

 

Meetings

4 meetings per year, taking place on Monday or Tuesday evenings,

6.30pm start usually lasting for 2 hours.
