The overall purpose of the board is to direct and control the ALMO’s work by :

• determining strategic direction and policies
• establishing control and risk management frameworks ensuring that the ALMO achieve its aim s and objectives and that the resources are in place to achieve these objectives

Responsibilities of individual board members

• contribute to and share responsibility for the Boards decision
• prepare for and attend meetings, training sessions and other events
• approve company policies

Homes for Haringey manages the HRA (Housing Revenue Account) on behalf of the Council and is therefore fully funded by the Council.
