The Management Committee, Collage Arts

Description

Vision

Collage Arts' vision is “Arts for All” a society in which the arts are accessible to everyone. Collage Arts continues to give those sections of the community marginalised by society priority access to all its projects and programmes and this philosophy underpins everything we do.

Mission Statement

Collage Arts will work to create a sustainable environment in which the arts and creative industries can develop, thrive and flourish and are accessible to all members of the community.

Target Beneficiaries

Collage Arts actively seeks to provide access and support to under-represented sections of the community (eg: black and minority ethnic communities, refugee communities, asylum seekers, women, people with disabilities, people requiring support with basic skills, ex-offenders) offering skills, experience and opportunities in music, film, performing arts, multimedia and ICT; and progression routes to further and higher education, employment and entrepreneurship.

Aims

Fostering the development of artistic taste and knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the arts in Haringey.

The Board meets bi monthly to monitor the progress of the organisation against the annual strategy and financial budgets/forecasts  agreed at the start of every year.

All the members also bring their specific expertise to assist the Board and the organisation. This includes expertise in finance, fundraising, legal, marketing, creative industries, young people, regeneration and social inclusion.
