The mothballed Tiverton school site has been proposed for redevelopment into a special school, in line with the Council's SEND and AP Strategy from 2025. It would be funded through a £2.5m allocation from the High Needs Capital Allocations. A new-build affordable housing offer, including supported housing units, has been proposed as a viable project on a portion of the Tiverton site.
