Decision due: Between 2 Apr 2024 and 30 Jun 2024 by Cabinet Member Signing
A decision was taken by Cabinet Member on the 7th December 2023 to award a contract to Diamond Build Plc to undertake refurbishment works at Canning Crescent to create a new Adult Mental Health facility with respite units, recovery college and cafe for use by Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey (BEH) Mental Health NHS Trust. On the 8th January 2024, prior to the issuing a letter of intent, Diamond Build Plc advised they had placed themselves into Voluntary Liquidation. As a result, there is a need to re-procure the works. A direct award from the Councils LCP Major Works Framework is considered to offer the Council best value in terms of minimising further disruption to the service, time and cost.
