The borough wide dog control PSPO expires on 18 October 2023 and any extension must occur before it expires and must be consulted upon. The consultation is subject to tight deadlines and had to commence on 16th August. There was insufficient time for the Lead Member to take the decision to consult so the decision was taken by the Director and needs to be ratified.
