The work aims to address building deficiencies, preventing failure of the building fabric and services, which could lead to school closure and to improve the building energy efficiencies.Some of this work is subject to central government funding (carbon grant) which is required to be completed by the end of September. To secure the Councils ability to complete grant funded work by this date, Cabinet approval is sought on completion of the procurement process.
