The report provides a discussion paper for how we plan education and training provision for ages 4 – 19 and sets the scene for a clearer understanding of recent legislative and policy changes.
It focuses on the quality and type of provision being offered and identifies points for consideration in helping to raise aspirations which in turn lead to work-readiness, qualifications and employment.
It presents an understanding of the effectiveness of current engagement with all our stakeholders including young people, parents and carers and suggests next steps for how we move education and training forward in order to support the overall aim to secure the highest possible outcome for every child and young person.
