Myddleton Road Local Shopping Centre: Developing an Improvement Strategy - Options for Consideration

The Council recognises the challenging economic characteristics of Myddleton Road and seeks to support the changing nature of Myddleton Road Local Shopping Centre. This document will consider different planning policy approaches and will seek views from stakeholders on the most suitable way forward in the production of a Policy Guidance Note

Consultation process

The Myddelton Road Strategy Group (MRSG) and wider community will be consulted in the process, as per Haringey’s Statement of Community Involvement.

 

In the preparation of the document an initial consultation workshop session is proposed for 13 March 2012 to seek input from the MRSG. This will inform the draft document for formal public consultation which is proposed to go to Cabinet in July.

 

If the draft consultation is approved it is anticipated that the formal public consultation will take place in July/August for sis weeks. A summary report will be produced during the formal consultation period and the Council’s responses.

 

Any necessary amendments will be made based on the responses from the public consultation and the final document will go back to Cabinet for adoption.
