Award of contract for the Brandon Centre to deliver multi-systematic therapy

The Council has been successful in partnership with the London Borough Waltham Forest in obtaining funds from the Department of Education to deliver an intensive intervention programme to young people. The Brandon Centre will be commissioned to deliver multi-systematic therapy to young people at the edge of care and custody to prevent these young people’s situations deteriorating and becoming looked after.

Consultation process

Consultation will be held with key stakeholders in both local authorities, partner agencies such as NHS, schools and service users regarding the implementation of multi-systematic therapy.

DMT date and early discussion between AD and Cabinet Member: Cabinet Member for Children's Services with the Director of Children and Young People's Service

SLT date: A needs analysis will be undertaken to identify the cohort of young people that will benefit from this service.
