The development management DPD sets out the detailed planning policies to deliver sustainable quality development in the borough and to meet the regeneration and development objectives of the Core Strategy.

Consultation process
The development management DPD has been subject to one round of statutory consultation May-June 2010 in line with the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 and updated regulations 2008. The development management document has been amended to reflect this first consultation and this report seeks approval to go to another round of consultation, putting forward changes to the list planning policies within the development management Development Plan Document.
