Consultation process
Consultation has been undertaken via reference groups of service users and a central group with membership on the Transforming Social Care Board. Reporting has been via the Transforming Social Care Board.
DMT date and early discussion between AD and Cabinet Member: Cabinet Member for Adults and Community Services with the Director of Adult, Culture and Community Services
SLT date: Although responsibility for equalities remain the same for adult social care services as before, the emphasis on self directed support enables service users to have more choice and control over their assessment, support plans and services purchased by them with their personal budget. Surveys are being conducted to establish the impact of the changes including equalities.
