Consultation process
Consultation has been carried out with other local authorities, the existing support providers, stakeholders and service users, which have all informed the findings. The process is being reported through the Supporting People Partnership Board.
DMT date and early discussion between AD and Cabinet Member: Cabinet Member for Adults and Community Services with the Director of Adult, Culture and Community Services
SLT date: The re-negotiated service will provide better Value for Money, and much more flexible model of support which will meet the various levels of need of people with learning disabilities and will include greater opportunities for people on the autism spectrum. Further, it will enhance the partnership working towards avoiding discrimination in the workplace and enhancing mentoring and outreach services to enable more people to live as independently as possible.
