Consultation process
Consultation will be undertaken with community groups, the Trade Unions, directorate equalities fora and the corporate equalities group.

SLT date: The new Equality Act 2010 consolidates all previous equalities legislation therefore our Equal Opportunities Policy needs to be updated in line with the new legislation. The accompanying delivery plan will enable us to fulfil the Council's obligations under the new Equalities Public Duty.
