Consultation process
The Core Strategy has been subject to three rounds of statutory public consultation (in line with the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 and Updates Regulations 2008). Issues and options consultations – Feb/March 2008; Preferred Options consultation – May/June 2009 and Proposed Submission consultation May/June 2010. The Core Strategy has been amended to reflect these consultations and this report presents the findings of the third stage of consultation – the Proposed Submission - and puts forward recommendations for both minor and major changes to planning policies contained within the Core Strategy.
