Consultation process
Consultation has been carried out with other local authorities, stakeholders and service users, which have all informed the findings. The process is being reported through the Supporting People Partnership Board.
DMT date and early discussion between AD and Cabinet Member: Cabinet Member for Adults and Community Services with the Director of Adult, Culture and Community Services.
SLT date: The existing service is unique to the borough in so far as it involves the care and repair of homes for older people as well as their wellbeing, health and safety, through community safety, anti burglary, safer by design initiatives and a home shopping service amongst other activities. The service has attracted additional government funding in 2009/10 and 2010/11. HIAs are accountable nationally to Foundations and have their own independent Quality Mark and quality standards that they report to in the Supporting People Programme.
