Consultation process
The Supporting People programme delivers housing related support to diverse vulnerable client groups across the borough. Commissioning of services is carried out by sector. Reviews of the services are being carried out in each of the sectors to inform the re-tendering or re-negotiating process. Reports have already been presented to the Procurement Committee for decision and further reports will follow in the next 12 months. Other local authorities, stakeholders and service users have informed the findings. The process is being reported through the Supporting People Partnership Board.
DMT date and early discussion between AD and Cabinet Member: Cabinet Member for Adults and Community Services with the Director of Adult, Culture and Community Services.
SLT date: The re-tendered or re-negotiated contracts will provide better targeted services to meet the demand and varied needs within the borough and deliver better value for money.
