To Request an Extension of the Stimulant/ Polydrug Treatment Service Contract.

This service engages drug users into all levels of treatment . The report  will seek Member agreement to waive the requirement to tender as this would not offer best value and could jeopardise the performance of reaching the NI40 target.

DMT date and early discussion between AD and Cabinet Member: Cabinet Member for Enforcement and Safer Communities with the Assistant Chief Executive for Policy, Performance, Partnerships and Communications

SLT date: The 2005/6 needs assessment identified a gap in services for crack users, in particular black crack users. The 2008/9 needs assessment showed that there had been an increase in crack users and BME groups accessing services since the opening of the service.
