Consultation process
Due to no fundamental change to direction or priorities, no formal consultation is necessary. Consultation has taken place with internal stakeholders. Consultation also undertaken with external partners through housing strategic partnership and Housing Association Forum on the updated draft document. Decision at Full Council to be taken on recommendation of the Executive to be held on 20 December 2005.

SLT date: The update process will include the specific consideration of equalities implications for every section of the strategy. It will clarify the implications for Housing on BME communities and for those with specific needs. An equalities impact assessment will be undertaken and the resulting recommendations included in the plan.
