External funds have been secured for the improvement of Markfield Park. A masterplan has been produced and the refurbishment of the existing buildings in the park are part of this plan. Competitive tenders will be invited for the building works from 8 firms from Haringey’s framework

Consultation process
All the designs for the park have been subject to public consultation with local residents, schools and the Friends of Markfield Park. The local community and numerous local organisations are all in full support of the plans. The building works are funded through the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) and Haringey's capital resources. Therefore, reporting is through the HLF and Haringey's Corporate PMO.
