Our concern is the impact on the residents and members who have lost valued classes\.
We are therefore asking Haringey Council to:
1. Review the loss of at least four group exercise classes per
week at Park Road Leisure Centre
2. Listen to the regular users of the affected classes and properly
consider the impact that the reduction has had on them.
3. Explore ways of restoring the lost classes, including whether M
classes could return to Park Road if this is possible and mutually
agreed.
4. Consult with members before making significant reductions to
established and well\-attended classes, wherever reasonably
possible.
5. Ensure that Park Road Leisure Centre continues to provide a
varied and reliable programme of group exercise classes that meets
the needs of its members.
6. Provide users with a clear response explaining what Haringey
Council intends to do about the loss of these classes.
We are asking the Council to recognise the value of these classes and to listen to the residents and members who have been affected by their loss\.
We ask Haringey Council to work with users , where appropriate, to find a way of restoring the lost classes at Park Road Leisure Centre
