We the undersigned petition the council to Residents should have priority parking outside their own houses on their road over non-residents, especially when there is a suspended parking area for a period of time. Haringey Council should give residents of Park View Road at the depot end priority parking bays so that they can guarantee a parking space outside their house, if not on their road.

Out of all the people that live on the depot end of Park View Road (over 30 residents) only four people responded to the consultation to introduce priority parking for residents. Three were in favour of priority parking and one was against. Most did not respond because of the wording on the consultation. If residents knew that they were being consulted for priority parking on Park View Road then they would have responded in larger numbers in favour of the parking controls. The way the consultation was worded made residents that the council was charging residents for parking.
