The pavement around Chestnuts Park Primary School gets very congested during pickup and drop off times, it needs to be widened and the railings should be pushed back so buggies and children can get into and out of school safely.
The school street next to the Chestnuts Park nursery should be made permanent and the street converted into a pedestrian area with adequate cycle parking so teachers, students and parents have a space to park their bicycles safely. Improving cycle infrastructure will give more people the opportunity to live healthier lives.
