CCTV needed on 14th Weston Park, N8

We the undersigned petition the council to take decisive action against the persistent antisocial behaviour and safety issues at St Mungo 14 Weston Park, by both deploying CCTV cameras for monitoring and deterrence and by establishing a performance monitoring plan for resident impact.

Due to not being fully managed, the vicinity of 14 Weston Park (St Mungo building) has become an epicenter for persistent antisocial behaviour, including visible drug dealing and disruptive noise over the past 3 years, adversely impacting the safety and quality of life Felix Avenue and Weston Park residents and visitors.

Our peace and quiet have been shattered by the blare of loud music during unsociable hours, early in the morning and late into the evening, hinting at unregulated parties.
In addition to these disruptions, physical safety and property maintenance have also been jeopardized, illustrated by incidents like window glass being broken and reckless handling of safety equipment, such as the playing with fire extinguishers. Most troubling of all, is the blatant drug usage and drug-dealing activities that have seemingly found a haven in our vicinity.

These occurrences are not only jeopardizing the reputation of our locality but are genuine threats to our safety, peace, and the wholesome environment we strive to maintain. Immediate, stringent, and effective management interventions are imperative to quell these disruptions and restore a sense of order and safety to our community.
