Committee details

Responsible for considering the Council’s policies and practice for the safeguarding of children, and examining the effectiveness of arrangements for partnership working. The Committee obtains the views of key stakeholders to obtain an understanding of how well children’s safeguarding processes are working in the borough, and makes recommendations on these issues to the Cabinet Member for Children.
