Can the Cabinet Member outline what   improvements the Council is taking to help residents stay safe and cool during periods of extreme heat, which is in addition to the current provision of paddling pools, water play facilities.

3.Councillor Sarah Williams to Councillor  Gio Iozzi

Given this minority administration's stated commitment to tree protection, could the Cabinet Member confirm the current position and future prospects for the Oakfield Road tree in Stroud Green.

4.Councillor Bethany Anderson to Councillor Gio Iozzi

Can the Cabinet Member provide an update on the Council's approach to reducing the use of glyphosate across the borough, including any progress made in trialling alternative methods of weed management and the challenges involved in moving towards lower-pesticide maintenance of our public spaces?

The Council owns a broad range of land and property assets, from corporate properties where staff provide services, to retail outlets, commercial units, and community spaces. These assets provide a valued source of income and social value to residents. However, they also incur significant running and maintenance costs.

 As a corporate landlord, the Council has a responsibility to manage these assets with the greatest level of care on behalf of taxpayers and for the benefit of all residents.

The Council in recent years undertook an extensive review of its land and property assets and approved a Land and Property Disposal Policy, which set out a robust and transparent governance process. This policy strengthened the approach already taken in the Strategic Asset Management and Property Improvement Plan (SAMPIP).

With this in mind, could this administration outline the purpose of its proposed Popular Assets Commission?

6.From Councillor Andrew Reid to Councillor Jo Kuper

The long-term waste contract with Veolia was agreed subject to the completion of a section 20 consultation by the previous administration in March, shortly before the change in political leadership. Can the Cabinet Member update the Council on the work within that contract to deliver the administration's priorities on waste reduction, recycling and environmental sustainability, including what opportunities exist to improve outcomes over its lifetime?

7.Councillor Eva Bell to Cllr Gio Iozzi

Can the Cabinet Member provide an update on the implementation of Haringey's Walking and Cycling Action Plan, including what progress has been made so far and what the key priorities will be over the next year to encourage more residents to choose active travel?

8.Cllr Ahmed to Cllr  Erin Wolson

The Liberal Democrat Group have long called for a change in the way Finsbury Park is managed by the council. At the election, the Green manifesto promised to “[renegotiate] or [end] bad deals with companies, from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to Finsbury Park” and to “strictly limit major commercial events in Finsbury Park”. Given the contract signed by the council in March, how do you intend to keep this promise to residents?

Can the Cabinet Member provide an update on the work being undertaken to reduce delays in responding to residents' enquiries and service requests, including what further improvements residents can expect over the coming year?
