The Adults and Health Scrutiny
Panel sits under Haringey’s Overview and Scrutiny Committee
and is responsible for scrutiny of the following areas:
- Adult
Social Care
- Connected Communities
- Health
and Social Care Integration
- Health
and Well-Being Board – Chair
- Mental
Health and Well-Being
- Public
Health (including Sexual Health, Addiction Services and Connected
Communities)
- Refugee and Migrant Support
- Safeguarding Adults
- Services for Adults with Disabilities and Additional
Needs
- Transitions
- Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) prevention
All scrutiny bodies will
perform similar scrutiny roles within their area of responsibility,
which include:

Holding the Cabinet and other local decision making
bodies to account (e.g. Cabinet Question and Answer
sessions);

Performance monitoring;
·
Assisting in the development or review of policies;
and
·
Budget scrutiny.
