Head of Local Democracy and Member Services to report that the Executive at their meeting on 20 February 2007 resolved as follows -

That authority to agree the Council’s Post Compulsory Discretionary Awards Statement in future years be delegated to the Director of the Children and Young People’s Service in consultation with the Executive Member for Children and Young People.

The report will agree that no Post Compulsory Discretionary Wards will be given in 2008/09 financial year.
