Issues raised during the Area Forum To take forward any issues raised during the Area Forum. Minutes: The Committee agreed that the interactive session with the architects had been useful in encouraging local residents to provide input into the development of an ambitious plan for improvement works to Wood Green town centre as part of developing a clear vision for the area. The notes taken from the group discussion sessions would be written up and provided to the architects to feed into the consultation process to be run for the scheme. Attendees would also be informed of the details of the consultation arrangements so they could provide additional input of their views. Members recognised that the plans outlined by the architects were ambitious in relation to the funding pot available and that clear parameters should be set out within the consultation where possible to manage expectations for the scheme.

Regular updates would be provided to future meetings. |

To note dates of future meetings and discuss venues and agenda items · 29 January 2013 · 18 April
Minutes: The next meeting was scheduled for 29 January 2013 and would be held in Woodside ward if possible, with Winkfield Road Resource Centre proposed as a venue. The last meeting of the municipal year in April would then be held in Bounds Green ward.
A number of agenda items had been proposed for the next meeting during the Forum part of the evening including an update on Pinkham Way and a consultation session on the budget from the Cabinet Member for Finance and Carbon Reduction. A query was also raised about the process for the development of neighbourhood plans and establishing a forum for the area and it was agreed that information on how residents could get involved in this would be circulated with the minutes. A discussion was also requested at a future meeting on the hours of operation of the Wood Green Controlled Parking Zone.
The Committee agreed that it would be useful to invite the Safer Neighbourhood teams in the area to attend future meetings, with rotational attendance from the different ward teams at each meeting to provide an overall update for the whole area.
