*Ward Councillors will be available from 6.15pm until 6.30pm to discuss individual issues of concern to local residents.

AREA FORUM

                 

 

1.         40:20 Carbon Reduction and Smart Homes

The Acting Environmental Resources Programme Manager will be explaining what 40:20 is and how residents can get involved in this Carbon Reduction programme. Residents will also get the chance to hear about the Smart Homes grant project which allows homeowners, private tenants, and landlords in the borough to apply for energy efficiency grants of up to £6000 to help make their homes better, warmer and greener.

 

2.         Local Safer Neighbourhoods Team Update

The Bruce Grove and West Green local Police team will be attending the meeting and providing an update about local Police activities.

 

3.         Local Planning Update  and Tottenham Area Action Plans

The Cabinet Member for Planning and the programme manager for the Tottenham Area Action Plans will be attending the meeting to provide an update on 5 &7 Bruce Grove and will inform residents about the up and coming planning consultations taking place in the area including information on a cycling super highway.

4.    4.     Council Budget Consultation

A Cabinet Member along with the Head of Finance will be talking about the Council’s priorities for future investment, and getting residents and partner’s views on how to best invest the Council’s funding over the next three years. Items of Urgent Business

A Member with a disclosable pecuniary interest or a prejudicial interest in a matter who attends a meeting of the authority at which the matter is considered:

 

(i)        Must disclose the interest at the start of the meeting or when the interest becomes apparent, and

(ii)       May not participate in any discussion or vote on the matter and must withdraw from the meeting room.

 

A member who discloses at a meeting a disclosable pecuniary interest which is not registered in the Register of Members’ Interests or the subject of a pending notification must notify the Monitoring Officer of the interest within 28 days of the disclosure.

 

Disclosable pecuniary interests, personal interests and prejudicial interests are defined at Paragraphs 5-7 and Appendix A of the Members’ Code of Conduct.
