That the minutes of the meeting held on 10 November 2014 be agreed as a correct record of the proceedings.

Declarations of interest

A member with a disclosable pecuniary interest or a prejudicial interest in a matter who attends a meeting of the authority at which the matter is considered:

 

(i) must disclose the interest at the start of the meeting or when the interest becomes apparent, and

 

(ii) may not participate in any discussion or vote on the matter and must withdraw from the meeting room.

 

A member who discloses at a meeting a disclosable pecuniary interest which is not registered in the Register of Members’ Interests or the subject of a pending notification must notify the Monitoring Officer of the interest within 28 days of the disclosure.

 

Disclosable pecuniary interests, personal interests and prejudicial interests are defined at Paragraphs 5-7 and Appendix A of the Members’ Code of Conduct.

To discuss and note the issues raised during the Area Forum meeting.

St Ann’s Hospital – Proposals for the Future

 

The Committee noted the contributions made to the discussion by David King on behalf of Haringey Needs St Ann’s Hospital (HANSAH), Councillor Peter Morton (Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing), Councillor Ali Demirci (Cabinet Member for Planning), Andrew Wright, on behalf of Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust, and Stephen Kelly (Assistant Director for Planning).   The Committee also noted the concerns expressed by local residents at the meeting on the matter and encouraged them to take part in the planning process, including sending the planning officers their comments as well as attending and, subject to registration, speaking at the meeting of the Council’s Planning Committee at which the planning application for the hospital site would be considered.   The ward councillors undertook to input issues and concerns raised by local residents into the planning process.   It was noted that an update on the progress of the planning application would be given at the next meeting of the Area Forum on 5 March 2015.

 

Consultation on Development Plan Documents

 

The Committee thanked the Assistant Director for Planning for his presentation to the Area Forum on the Haringey Local Plan, Site Allocations Development Plan Document and Tottenham Area Action Plan, and it encouraged local residents to take part in the consultation process, including attending any consultation meetings and drop-in sessions.   The Committee noted that public consultation would be undertaken over a six week period from 9 February to 23 March 2015, and that the plans were available for viewing at www.haringey.gov.uk/localplan or by visiting the council’s offices in Wood Green, or in local libraries.  It was further noted that comments on the documents could be made by:
