A member with a disclosable pecuniary interest or a prejudicial interest in a matter who attends a meeting of the authority at which the matter is considered:

(i) must disclose the interest at the start of the meeting or when the interest becomes apparent, and

(ii) may not participate in any discussion or vote on the matter and must withdraw from the meeting room.

A member who discloses at a meeting a disclosable pecuniary interest which is not registered in the Register of Members’ Interests or the subject of a pending notification must notify the Monitoring Officer of the interest within 28 days of the disclosure.

Disclosable pecuniary interests, personal interests and prejudicial interests are defined at Paragraphs 5-7 and Appendix A of the Members’ Code of Conduct.

To approve the minutes of the Advisory Committee held on 30 June 2016 and 29 September 2016.

RESOLVED that the minutes of the Statutory Advisory Committee meetings held on 30 June 2016 and 29 September 2016 be approved as a correct record.

1.         To appoint 2 councillor representatives and 2 residents association representatives to the SAC Urgency Sub-Committee;

2.         To appoint a chair and vice-chair of the SAC Urgency Sub-Committee from the confirmed representatives appointed thereto; and

3.         To appoint an observer to the Alexandra Palace and Park Board.

RESOLVED that

i.          Jason Beazley, Jim Jenks, Councillor Jogee and Councillor Wright be appointed to the SAC Urgency Sub-Committee;

ii.         Councillor Jogee and Jason Beazley be appointed as Chair and Vice-Chair respectively of the SAC Urgency Sub-Committee; and

iii.      Councillor Wright be appointed as the SAC observer to Alexandra Palace and Park Board.

To avoid duplication, the report is included in the Joint SAC-CC agenda pack.

The SAC noted the discussion which took place during the joint meeting and had no further comments.
