DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST MADE FOR THIS ITEM:

RESOLVED:

That the Cabinet Member for Resident Services & Tackling Inequality:

1.    Approved the 1-year extension of the Environmental Enforcement Services contract with Kingdom Services Group Limited in accordance with CSO 2.01(d), and

2.    Noted that the cost of the services will continue to be cost neutral, as the income generated through FPNs is transferred to the Council, with 34.5% being shared to Kingdom to offset the cost to deliver the services. 

The Director of Environment introduced the report. The rationale for the report was outlined.

It was noted there was a correction in the report and that the contract date was due to start on 5 February 2025, rather than 6 February as stated in the report.
