(Report of the Director of the Children and Young People’s Service – To be introduced by the Executive Member for Children and Young People): To agree the Council’s policy on how the LSF is allocated, including assessing learners’ income and a procedure for learners to appeal if they refused funding.

1. That approval be granted to the Learner Support Fund policy as set out in Appendix 1 to the interleaved report.

2. That approval be granted to the delegation of authority to agree the Learner Support Fund policy in future years to the Director of the Children and Young People’s Service in consultation with the Executive Member for Children and Young People.
