RESOLVED:
Alternative Options Considered
The Council has worked with the London Healthwatch Commissioners Group in developing the option set out in this report.
Reasons for Decision
Cabinet is asked to make this decision so that the Council is able to meet its statutory obligation to have an effective Healthwatch Provider and contract in place on 1 April 2013. Any delay to the already tight timescale reduces the likelihood of developing a professional, representative and accountable Healthwatch organisation that Haringey residents and stakeholders can trust and have confidence in.
