(Report of the Director of Adult and Housing Services to be introduced by the Cabinet Member for Housing). The report seeks approval to award the contract in principal for the lift modernisation work at addresses set out above.

Cabinet were asked to agree to award a contract, in principle, for required lift modernisation works at the above listed council owned housing blocks.

 

RESOLVED

 

  1. That an  in principle contract award of contract  for the above project as allowed under Contract Standing Order (CSO) 9.071(a) and (d) be approved.  This was based on the lowest tender received from the contractor set out in Appendix 2.1

 

  1. That the total estimated cost excluding fees as detailed in paragraph 2.1 of Appendix A be approved.

 

  1. That the finalisation of the award be delegated to the Director of Adult and Housing Services , Mun Thong Phung after the expiry of the Section 20 consultation.
