To advise the Committee on Appeal decision determined by the Department for Communities and Local Government during September 2008

The Committee was asked to note the outcome of 10 appeal decisions determined by the Department for Communities and Local Government during September 2008 of which 6 (60%) were allowed and 4 (40%) were dismissed.

The Committee was particularly asked to note that of the 6 appeals allowed,  one appeal, a place of worship, was approved on the basis of the time period involved.  However, the principle of the case was dismissed therefore, the case was lost by the applicant.
