(Report of the Director of Urban Environment – To be introduced by the Cabinet Member for Environment and Conservation): To seek approval to the management of future investments into the Council’s highways assets.

Highways Asset Management Plan (Director of Urban Environment - Agenda Item 14)

RESOLVED:

1. That approval be granted to the draft Highways Asset Management Plan (HAMP) as an important first stage towards Infrastructure Asset Management for local borough roads and their associated structures which will be required in the future for the Whole of Government Accounts.

2. That the Highways Works Programme (see Minute No. CAB 150 below) be used annually to update members on the development and implementation of the plan and, in particular, to consider the future work programme based on the principles of the HAMP and where necessary to update the HAMP.
