The Head of Housing Development approves awarding a contract to 1st Line Defence Limited in accordance with CSO 11.01 and 11.02 for the amount of £1,000 + VAT for UXO survey services for the Kings Road (N17) Car Park Development.

This appointment will support the submission of the planning application

Reasons for the decision:

The Kings Road (N17) Car Park site has been designated by Haringey Council for the direct delivery of new Council homes. The project requires a multi-disciplinary consultancy to manage the site from RIBA Stage 1 to 3.

Alternative options considered:

The Council could opt not to appoint this consultant; however, this decision would adversely affect and hinder the delivery of new council homes. Conducting this survey is a mandatory requirement.
