Reasons for the decision:

The Council is required to consider the feedback received during the public consultation period, prior to taking a decision on whether to proceed to statutory consultation.
The proposed speed reducing measures are aimed at reducing vehicle speeds and improving road safety for all road users.

Alternative options considered:

Do nothing. This option was not progressed as safety at this location would not be addressed.
