Decision:

For the Head of Programme Management to waive CSO 8.03 in accordance with CSO 10.01.1 (b) and 10.01.2 (d) (i) to award a contract to award a contract to London Borough of Enfield for planning application fees for the sum of £34,098.00.

Reasons for the decision:

The application for full planning consent to the London Borough of Enfield will ensure that Haringey secures approval for its development proposal for the Bull Lane Playing Fields site, as a key element of the Selby Urban Village masterplan project; and that the proposal and all elements of the planning submission are fully in compliance with Enfield Council’s requirements.

Alternative options considered:

Not progressing with the planning application to Enfield Council will jeopardise the Selby Urban Village masterplan project as the Bull Lane Playing Fields site could not be progressed to allow land release on the Selby Road site for council social housing.
