Merton Scaffolding Ltd to erect scaffolding in
order to carry out a full audit of works carried out by NFC Homes
Ltd. This involves inspection to all areas on the roof to ensure
these areas are watertight, ensure the front are full netted. To
identify any rectification to the roof areas and window
installation on all plots. They can recommence work immediately to
protect the rest of the structure where exposed to the
elements.
Waiting until a new works contractor is
appointed and on site will take some months and during this time,
the building could further deteriorate.
Tendering out a new contract would cost the Council additional
money and time, so this option was therefore rejected
