Approval for a contract variation for additional Employer’s Agents fees to the value of £56,800 from the previously agreed fee of £38,000 as supplied by Charles Ramsden Consultancy Services Ltd to complete the development at Edith Road N11.

The Council requires Employers’ Agent Services to complete the construction and handover of the proposed housing scheme that was previously delayed due to termination of the previous contractor.

The Council could go out to retender, but this would cause the council to lose substantial knowledge Charles Ramsden have of the partially completed scheme and contract termination matters. They have a substantial amount of in-depth knowledge of the scheme, the status of the incomplete structure, ground works, utilities, outstanding matters such as collateral warrantees and the key deliverables of the development.
