improvement to the internal fabric.
The award to HTR Construction and Roofing Limited is following a
competitive mini tender though the Haringey Dynamic Purchasing
System.
The evaluation of the submission was undertaken on a quality (60%)
and costs (40%) basis, in accordance with standard practice. The
submission from HTR Construction and Roofing Limited was considered
to be the most advantageous tender to Haringey
Do nothing - This is not an option as the building requires some
improvements to ensure Haringey meets its Health and Safety
responsibilities. Haringey Council have a statutory duty under the
Public Libraries and Museums Act 1964 to promote the improvement of
the public library service, and to provide a comprehensive and
efficient library service for all persons for all those who live,
work or study in the area (section 7).
