This report requests approval to appoint the recommended
consultant, Mason Navarro Pledge (MNP) for Civil and Structural
Engineering services for the Kings Road (N17) Car Park development.
This follows a competitive procurement process in accordance with
CSO 12.01 which states ‘all contracts let with a value of
£25k or more must be undertaken in accordance with the Code
of Practice having regard for CSOs 7.01, 8 and 9 in the first
instance’.
This appointment and reports, survey and assessments will support
the submission of the planning application.
The Kings Road (N17) Car Park site has been
designated by Haringey Council for the direct delivery of new
Council homes. The project requires a multi-disciplinary
consultancy to manage the site from RIBA Stage 1 to 3.
The Council could opt not to appoint this
consultant; however, this decision would adversely affect and
hinder the delivery of new council homes. Conducting this survey is
a mandatory requirement
